Overview of TiD considerations when designing for individuals experiencing homelessness
Service Description
Target Skill Level: Basic TiD CEUs: 1 Presenters: Janet Roche and Christine Cowart Course Length: 1 hour This section will explore some of the pathways that lead to homelessness and then introduce design considerations for the TiD practitioner. Topics will include safety, property concerns, employment, health and mental health considerations, and the importance of accessible services and resources.
Cancellation Policy
In order to be eligible for a refund, cancellations of courses must be received prior to the start of the course. A credit, which may be used for other services or purchases from Trauma-informed Design Society, may be provided for enrollments cancelled after the course begins. Participants joining any live or synchronous event more than 15 minutes past the scheduled start time without prior notice may not be admitted to the session.
