Service Description
Target Skill Level: Basic TiD CEUs: 1 Presenters: Janet Roche and Christine Cowart Course Length: 1 hour Experiencing trauma has a direct impact on students’ ability to access educational opportunities. Traumatic stress can cause lasting brain changes, impact memory, create barriers to higher-level, rational thinking, and impair the ability to manage emotional reactions and behaviors. This section will explore ways to create a safe, stress-reducing physical environment for students, and introduce the TiD Society’s EDRA CORE award-winning Trauma-informed Design Evaluation Tool for K-12 Schools (TiDEvalK12).




Cancellation Policy
In order to be eligible for a refund, cancellations of courses must be received prior to the start of the course. A credit, which may be used for other services or purchases from Trauma-informed Design Society, may be provided for enrollments cancelled after the course begins. Participants joining any live or synchronous event more than 15 minutes past the scheduled start time without prior notice may not be admitted to the session.
